He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel and a master's in accountancy with a focus on taxation from the College of Charleston.

Andy Thomas, Allston Moore and Shelly Clark have joined First Tennessee Bank in its newly opened Mount Pleasant office.

Thomas is senior vice president and commercial banking relationship manager. He has more than 20 years of banking industry experience. He has a bachelor's degree from Clemson University.

Moore is senior vice president and private client team leader. He has 23 years of private banking and wealth management experience. He has a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina.

Clark is private client relationship manager. She has more than 20 years of experience in retail, commercial and private banking. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado.

Construction

Pete Bailey has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of CR Hipp Construction Inc. He succeeds Al Hitchcock, who is now chairman of the board. Bailey had been vice president of operations since 2007. He has about 30 years of construction industry experience. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina.

Health care

Dr. Gary Headden has been named medical director of Nason Medical Center. Previously, he was an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and a medical degree from MUSC.

Law

Temitope "Tope" Leyimu has joined Mount Pleasant-based Motley Rice as an associate attorney. Her practice focuses on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Andrew W. Countryman, Jackson H. Daniel III, Amanda K. Dudgeon and Brooke A. Payne of Carlock Copeland and Stair LLP's Charleston office have been named partners in the firm.

Nonprofit

Deborah LaRoche and Katie Young have been promoted at Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach on Johns Island. LaRoche is director of development. Previously, she was a social worker for the past 11 years. Young is education coordinator for youth programs. Previously, she was coordinator of the English as a second language program.

Stacy Miller has joined Cushman & Wakefield|Thalhimer's Charleston office as director of commercial property services. She has more than 13 years of experience in the real estate industry and specializes in property and facilities management.
