Police have released a sketch of a suspect in a robbery that was reported in West Ashley Saturday.
An employee of Approved Cash Loans at 1669 Savannah Highway said a man came into the business about 9:30 a.m. Saturday and robbed her. She said the man took $1,500 in cash. No weapon was mentioned, and police are calling it a strong-arm robbery.
The man is described as heavily built, balding with scruffy facial hair. The woman said he was wearing a black knit cloth around his face and was carrying a black cooler bag with a zipper over his shoulder.
