February 04, 2013 - Neither the San Francisco 49ers nor the Baltimore Ravens had ever lost in the Super Bowl, but that changed as the two squared off in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday. Adding to the drama of what already was a great game was the fact that two brothers were squaring off as head coaches: John Harbaugh for the Ravens and Jim Harbaugh for the 49ers. And, as tradition goes, the commercials and halftime show, this year by Beyonce, were a big draw for many. The Ravens ended up taking the title, and as The Roost and Mellow Mushroom in Avondale were flooded with purple, the partying went well past the final play.
